The Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail
Known to early settlers as "the Kaskaskia Trace," the Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail is once again becoming a travel destination.
 
The Pierre Menard Home
Considered by many to be the "Mount Vernon of Illinois" it is the French Colonial residence built by Pierre Menard, a trader who became the first lieutenant governor of Illinois from 1818 to 1822, located in Fort Kaskaskia State Park.
 
Fort de Chartres
Fort de Chartres was a French fortification first built in 1720 and used as an administrative center for the province.
